       A guy crossed the street in front of my car and I noticed that he was wearing high heeled platform boots (hippie-ish) but other than this he presented pretty masculine. The whole trans crapola has made me cringe when I see something like this, because my instinct is that he’d say he is trans (because of some dumb ass heeled boots), whereas before I would have just thought “ok well you do you”.  Ugh this trans shit is so regressive and affects public perception even for those of us who don’t believe in the gender woo. 😩

       @ChasingWaterfalls I've noticed this for me, too, but most of the time the dude does actually end up having a trans identity if I talk to him, and has shitty misogynist beliefs about "gender," and then I don't feel any regret for clocking him as what he is. Half the time even if he turns out to be a normie effeminate gay guy, he'll still have shitty sexist beliefs about this stuff and support trans bs. I think in light of all this stuff we have to realize that our feelings make sense. A lot of guys that are drawn to women's clothing are the classic crossdresser stereotype that loathes women and gets off on feeling degraded by wearing our clothes. If we see a man wearing something feminine and internally cringe at first because it reminds us of all this we need to be gentle with ourselves, because yes rarely its a man just innocently wearing whatever he wants, but the majority of the time its not.

       @lezpaulguitars @ChasingWaterfalls Not innocent most of the time, in my experience. Also, my suspicions have been confirmed by them staring at me aggressively, as if they can tell I’m a TERF. Perhaps most women smile at them encouragingly and my deliberate indifference hurts their gender feelings.
