@apps I never managed to get push notifications working properly for me in using Fedilab. Only Tusky has ever worked in sending push notifications for me reliably.

@appsIt various. I do see notifications in the morning waiting for me. Other times notification only pops up if I open the app. And other times it will notify me as intended.I'm guessing it has something to do with battery optimization in settings?

@GeeksLoveDetail Good question, when subscribing it is per token. We have to check if values are not overridden when using two different apps.Apps register an endpoints, if it is different, only one app will get that notifications (ie: the last used one).

@Christopher No, from reports it stopped to work for many users. We are looking if it's something related to a change to Mastodon 4.1 or something on our end.Policy parameter was introduced in mastodon 4.1 for push but even when using "all" servers don't seem to trigger the push or at least on the correct endpoint.

@appsNo change with this way. But I'm able to remove the registred items in the up fcm app (long tap, unregister). With a restart of fedilab I've only a single registration.

@appsI need to report that at the time I took the poll, notifications weren't working for me, 4.1. Shortly after I took the poll they began working. I don't know what to make of that.

@apps using UnifiedPush here (NextPush), not working in a reliable wayhave to restart the android service or logout/login in the service and wait to fedilab register in it to get push notifications to work againsometimes it works as expected 🤷♂️

@apps When you posted the survey I think I still got notifications, on a 4.1 server. Then I updated fedilab from 3.17.x to 3.18.1 (fdroid) and I think I'm no longer receiving notifications since; update to 3.18.2 seems not to have that changed.I still have ntfy in the silent notification bar "listening for incoming notifications".
