       @RonsCompVids What I wouldn’t give for an LG OLED with an open source OS running it. I could put only useful stuff in there, not a bunch of poorly written spyware etc.

       @RonsCompVids @breadbin Exactly. TVs should not have wifi or play games or stream. They should just show video and sound audio from their inputs, and *nothing* else.

       @mos_8502 @RonsCompVids I do like being able to turn them off and stream *to* them locally. But that’s about it.That said something like an OLED still requires OLED software (to take care of the screen), settings, dealing with inputs and HDMI and decoding and arc and HDMI control stuff etc.Which TVs generally are bad at:(
