       @mastodonusercount so does ‘account’ count someone who logged on once 6 months ago? Does the owner of 10 accounts count as 10? Despite all their imperfections MAU and DAU numbers would be somewhat more interesting. I don’t often agree with Twitter but DAU growth is probably the most interesting stat, particularly for Mastodon where I don’t perceive significant bot user activity. https://www.investopedia.com/terms/m/monthly-active-user-mau.asp
