@boilingsteam XFCE and MATE are the only DEs that I can relay on to use 12h per day to work reliably and not crash on me, not driving me insane and with enough customisation options. Both are light and fast.GNOME = Garbage design, garbage implementation, garbage philosophy (Our way or the highway)KDE = Nice, but waaay too much useless functionality with waaay too many bugs. Also feels heavy no matter how big the computer.

@boilingsteam I really liked Unity when I was using it, but right now, GNOME's where it's at. Wayland support and a couple extensions are all I need. Oh, and a command to bring back maximize and minimize, but that's it.

@boilingsteamwhen I started with Linux I liked gnome, but that was mostly being used to windows, I have sense run into too many plugin issues and switched to KDE Plazma.I don't think I can use Gnome anymore tbth, to much work to make it what I want as apposed to KDE
