@tun_able @icecubesapp you don’t need it to be a feature in the app, you can just tell iOS to lock orientation from control center

@icecubesapp Wow, cool! Really looking forward to landscape mode.Btw, it’d be really great if you could add alt text to the pictures you post here. Like a lot of people on the Fedi, I want my visually impaired friends and followers to be able to participate in the conversation. (I’m quite happy with how the app handles alt text, btw!)

@icecubesapp this sounds totally like a developer idea. Not everything that’s possible needs to be done. I don’t think a short message service needs to have landscape. Text is more readable, if it’s not spread over the full screen. But I appreciate landscape for images and video. It’s all about priorities. This app is fully stuffed with features no one really needs, like all the app icons. You should be patients about what feature to add. #UI #UX

@icecubesapp couple thoughts if this is implemented: — to maximize vertical space • move tab bar to vertical along either side (user configurable?) • auto hide all top/bottom chrome upon scrolling — swipe in notifications pane/column from side? — have two column view available, each one regular iPhone width?
