There is nothing that would be personally identifying to any members and nothing confidential is on it. It's a bog standard financial document that companies are legally required to file and have verified by an audit every year. I dont really see how doing something like this would put njp at any kind of increased risk, and would actually go a long way in showing transparency and goodwill.

@Boomerman @Chuckie_ar_la @BigDuck The thing is, assuming that Greg doesn’t have legal standing to control the account, and the people who do have legal standing are technically locked out of it, you can have a situation where nobody can spend any money.That kind of situation can obviously be fixed by a lawsuit, but that takes time, money and discovery sucks for everyone involved.The other fix is to get an agreement out of court, but if that agreement requires a payoff, it’s not going to happen if nobody can pay ^^I don’t know what is true or not, and I don’t have any legitimate right to know, but from what is publicly known, it makes sense.

Could you offer a link for that? All I see on the website is flowery advertisement for why you should go with kraken for institutional trading. To be fair there can sometimes be restrictions on how much money can be moved in a single transaction, and I think for wells fargo that is 10k (don't quote me on this, i could be wrong) but I'm also pretty sure that's just for personal accounts and there would be different limits on what could be done with a business account.

Just to be clear here, I personally am not saying that I've cracked some super secret code to making an absolutely perfect impenetrable and antifragile organization, I'm just saying that there are certain organizational concerns that fall into broad categories that have had pretty effective solutions that work pretty well most of the time. I am also not demanding that *everything* is made public, that would obviously be a ridiculous standard to hold someone to. I just think having some understanding of where money goes, even if just from a bird's eye view, would go a long way. It would also be a great way to show growth, and there are plenty of ways to do that without divulging any kind of at risk or confidential information.

Plenty of baggage from the transition will be an issue going forward, as the group develops the procedures, standards, and brand needed to mature into a serious political entity. The fans, followers, and creators have been in the rhythm of niche e-celebs for so long that the transition from keyboard fighters to diplomats will continue to prove a rough one. Look there are always going to be deteactors and some people are never going to be satisfied but "you have to take our word for everything at face value because some people won't be satisfied if we *did* provide evidence" isn't that great imo. Like I said earlier today, this is the kind of shit you see when 22 year old punks strike it rich, “make their own LLC” from guide they find online, and fly by the seat of their pants. Maybe their accounting and stuff is airtight, we don’t have any info on that, but the disorganization that the autistic one alludes to REALLY reminds me of all the messy, inoperable LLC’s I’ve seen where guys think they’re protecting their assets by doing an online, handheld course that autofills paperwork. If something did happen in a court, those situations end up throwing out the LLC altogether, though I’ve never seen one go to court. Usually the threat is enough. LLC’s aren’t magic paper, they’re like a series of contracts, you’re only protected as long as you fill in the squares and file the right things. TBH though, the fact that they have a “business account” puts them above and beyond most LLC’s I’ve seen. Way, way too often it’s just a personal account some dentist added because he’s too lazy to see a notary more than one time per decade.

If the LLC WAS his, then it’s his ass that’s on the line if they got sued, and if their recordkeeping sucked, or there was too much mingling of funds, no established payroll, etc. then the claimants could end up taking his house out from under him. These days, I usually see them when guys buy a plane together, establish a flight club, etc. And there’s no shortage of “nah man it’s cool YOU be the one to file the paperwork”…and that should TERRIFY you. I wouldn’t do that kind of thing, because it’s your livelihood that they’ll come after when something bad happens. Oops, someone in the club let his stepdaughter out of the plane and she walked into a prop? Well, her mom is suing the LLC, and since you and your friends failed to uphold a high standard of separation between your funds and the “company’s”. They call it “piercing the corporate veil”. In that case, they’re going to point to things like you putting “company” items on your personal credit card, or borrowing the plane “off the books” and not paying the LLC for the time you flew it as proof that it’s just a flimsy bit of legal fiction, and you and the LLC are essentially one and the same. Stuff like that IS a pain in the ass, and seems pointless to guys doing it, like “why would I write a check to cash in the business account? I’ll have to give money to the club account for an overhaul anyways!” but it shows that you and the club are distinct, separate entities and your assets are wholly separate. If I were Gregg I would rightfully be fearful about that kind of thing, he would have a LOT more skin in the game than anybody else. AGAIN, however, I am a layman and this is NOT my forté. I’d love for more knowledgeable frens here to chip in and help me out.

For all their warts and corruption, even labor and trades unions manage to do this for the most part. There are specific IRS carve outs and tax advantages for fraternal lodges and it seems strange that nobody that I am aware of has taken advantage of this.

I think the most realistic thing is that he learned (way too late, likely) exactly how little he was protected by their LLC. Some states require biennial/annual reports and formal minutes to be filed in order to prove it’s a functional company. Hell, if you don’t file one, some states automatically dissolve the LLC. An LLC requires an operating agreement, requires a bunch of corporate formalities that many LLC owners eschew thinking they’re unneeded - but they provide a VITAL layer of defense against litigation. I suspect that, as an analogy, he looked at the “bulletproof vest” he was wearing and found out the plates were just cardboard squares. Sure, he hasn’t been shot, but if he did….it wouldn’t protect him like everyone expected

Going into business with someone is akin to entering into a marriage, you’re shackled to each other for good. It’s more about whether your compatible in temperament than reputation or competence alone. You’re giving each other wide latitude to screw each other’s lives up, just like a marriage. Like, you can be personally liable for things like company taxes, or even company obligations if the company doesn’t have the money. I know one guy whose partners screwed up, leading to a surprise $30,000 charge when the contractor they hired ruined things and ghosted. Depending on how this goes, they might just do better to start a new one and buy the assets, brand, whatever else he owns so they can start fresh and make all their filing absolutely airtight. I’d assume they’re already on legalistic war footing at all times, but….nobody likes keeping up with paperwork, especially when it seems so pointless

If I were making an LLC with people, I probably wouldn’t put a very detail-oriented, “autistic” guy on top unless he knows the ins and outs already. I’d pick someone more even-keeled and make the autist the #2 to oversee things, but maybe not give him full authority. The friction that comes from incompatible expectations can lead to this kind of thing (and often does). But, beggers can’t be choosers, and there aren’t that many people who CAN be relied upon for this kind of thing to begin with. I can hardly find someone worthy of owning property with, much less pledge his “life, property, and sacred honor” or however the old saying goes. People need to respect the level of risk he took on if he’s the sole owner of a gigantic, mile-wide bullseye like the NJP. That’s….well, I wouldn’t let anyone in my family do it. I wouldn’t even let my brothers get their name in the OA.

That's fairly reasonable, like seeing how much is spent on protesting and stuff, but people will interpret stuff like that one of two ways for the most part.One, you show everyone whats going on and they see that the numbers are low and it makes them think they're not as popular as they thought and don't have a chance to ever make it so they decide not to join or donate.Two, they see the numbers are higher than they thought and decide that they already have plenty of members and money and decide not to join or donate.The fact that everyone has different income levels or different ideas of low and high makes it hard to judge whether the numbers are in the middle ground where someone sees that they're becoming successful but still need help. If that were the case and the numbers were in the sweet spot then I'm sure they'd be more open to doing it.Another aspect is that our enemies could use the information against us.I'd like to see transparency with out politicians and even stuff like this but for now I'm sure it is a good idea to have them show everyone everything. Unlike some of the others you seem fairly reasonable in this post and I think I mostly agree with you.

Well, ive said elsewhere there are always going to be naysayers and detractors. Sad and unfortunate, but true. I can only speak for myself, but as someone who isn't interested in stirring shit just for the sake of stirring shit, I think it would go a long way in showing those people are just interested in having internet pissing matches if the official party response was not always "just take our word for what's going on behind the scenes". In the course of a single day I saw Boomerman, who was probably one of the most sincere and aggressive true believers in the NJP on poast go from "internet anons don't deserve to make demands from people that are actually doing things" to "yeah maybe we *do* need some more to go with than just 'these people are crazy just trust us'". If someone like that with that kind of track record doesn't seem like someone with sincere concerns I really don't know who could be considered a sincere person, and I highly doubt he's the only one. Granted, I'm not one of those "it's absolutely over for trs they will never recover, 2 more weeks until total njp death", but stuff like this does not look good, and if they dont change how they respond to this stuff in the future, it will not get better I imagine.

I think I'm fairly neutral about it and you seem a lot closer to being neutral about it than the others that you get lumped in with.You're right about Boomerman. I think there are things they can't talk about right away and in Boomerman's eyes that made it seem worse. You have to strike a balance between not ignoring everything and everyone and not getting dragged into shit that doesn't matter because sometimes it is worse to give things attention than it is to ignore them.One thing I would do if I had an organization like that is to find a few people outside of the group who are dissidents but "normies" in that they're part of the target audience and don't have podcasts of their own or whatever and test ideas out on them. "If we did this, how would that look to you and how do you think others would see it?" You could learn a bit by doing that I think. Some people are schizo retards though and they have nutty opinions although that could be filtered out pretty quick. Speaking of which, when you filter out the misfits and people who are assholes you end up with people like mongoose and kash who make it their life's work to try and shit on NJP any chance they can just because they didn't fit in with a pool party. The two of them have psychological and personality issues which need to be addressed before they join any group. I've tried being nice to both and now I have no use for them. If you can't be nice to a stranger on the internet who is being nice to you then you're a piece of shit person and likely to be the same or worse in real life.Anyhow, for people who are considered "anti NJP" (I've been called "anti NJP" before for criticizing jazzhands the few times hes had bad takes and pointing out that putin is controlled by jews just like ukraine) you're a lot more fair than the rest.

I bet I've had a harder life than he has and yet I'm still nice to people when I first meet them, especially strangers that I've just met and are being nice to me. My first, second, third, and every interaction with him after that he has been a pretentious asshole for no reason. He does not share my interest in diplomacy. It's kinda always been that way. He'd rather be right than nice. My understanding is that he believes the official NJP position is that they do not like him, full stop. I take him at his word when he says this, because I have very good reasons to trust him. He's got no interest in being cordial with people who dislike him. Unfortunately that does wind up with strangers and randos in the crossfire sometimes, and if you've had a negative experience with him, and I do wish he wouldn't be as aggressive with random people, but I'm also not going to tell him he needs to grovel to people who he's got reason to believe dislike him a priori. You can be right and nice at the same time but I totally understand your description of him. It honestly sounds like he is autistic or something.When I first interacted with him I think he was still in good graces with TRS/NJP since it was close to a year ago now. From what I understand it is his attitude that caused him to not be liked and while that can be a tough thing to come to grips with due to people naturally having an ego, he needs to understand that the problems he is having lie at least somewhat with him.I have no hard feelings towards you either. I know we've bantered with each other before, at least I'm pretty sure we have, and when I see you or anyone else acting nice and in good faith then I'll try to put aside any past actions and move forward. As of now I dislike mongoose because of how he acts to people but I'd also forgive him and give him a second chance if he were to change and admit being in the wrong. Some of these guys need someone they look up to or are friends with to tell them that they need to change and then help them if they can. The trick is to offer constructive criticism from a place of love instead of just trying to tear people down.This movement draws a lot of different personalities and some of us have made mistakes or are making mistakes. If we are to consider ourselves as brothers then we need to look inside ourselves and think about how we treat others, if we're honest with ourselves then sometimes we'll see that we need to apologize to our brothers for being an asshole or screwing up and at the same time our brothers also need to accept our apology and forgive us if whatever we did isn't too bad that we can't be forgiven.
