@SrbijaStronk the cards were used for the correct guessing game. It felt like one of those “are you psychic” tests. The other weird thing is that most of the kids who remember GATE had occupital buns on their head

@D-Droid Huh... I've never heard of that before, but it turns out i have one. I don't think i ever had a teacher check the back of my head for anything... Maybe they had nurses make a note for reports on lice checks?

@D-Droid This may be a false memory but I recall that there were instructions that went with them. Like the number of beeps or pitch was an indication you were supposed to pick a card or series of cards. The tester would question why you picked a card(s) so you would explain your reasoning, admit you made a mistake, or admit you didn't know.

If I remember correctly an anon theorized this was some weirdo test devised by Feds in the 50's as way to find good applicants for leadership positions early on. So it was related to grooming of elites somehow. Very weird phenomenon that a lot of people remember
