       @derekross Monopolizing currency is not desirable regardless of which currency it is.So the question is, why is this particular currency undesirable, or more desirable than the next?Bitcoin has a significant flaw, namely it is unsuitable for small transactions.  To "fix" this, lightning was created as a means of bandaiding over the flaws.  In short, transactions are settled off chain.  So much for it being the best chain.
