       Of all the magic that remains of the internet:Still the most amazing thing to me is going to the site for the New York Public Library, and borrowing digital copies of books that then appear instantly on our 7 yo daughter's Kindle.She comes home, asks if she can read something, and roughly half the time, there it is, ready for her in two minutes. It's incredible.

       @Slavin I love Libby/Overdrive. And I have both my BPL and NYPL cards in the app so I can “walk across the street” to see if one has loans available when the other is out. (BPL also has a much higher hold/borrow limit)
