My Sennheiser finally broke (the plastic bit on the left broke off, I think because I uncover my right ear a lot to listen to the TV and that puts pressure on it). It's still wearable but the left ear slides out of the headband pretty often. I'm debating if I should duct tape it or just use it as an excuse to buy a new headset.Sennheiser is definitely the most durable headset brand I've used. I go through a lot of them because I end up smashing them on the floor a lot on accident.

@josh you can duck tape it, if you do though try to avoid getting tape caught on your hair. from first hand experience it can hurt a lot lol. Does save the headset though

@josh For any future Sennheisers (Or high quality headphones in general) put the headphone your taking off above your ear not beside it. It keeps them in a more natural shape and puts less strain on the plastic.Also, just turn your monitor up to hear the TV instead. I think you mentioned using the Scarlett, and I'm pretty sure that has a mic monitor on it. Just point it in the direction you want to hear things.
