       Star Trek: Picard was (so far) such a boring disappointment that I couldn't even bring me to finish Season 2. Is Season 3 more than lazy fan service (having the old cast)? If so let me know and why.

       @malteengeler watched first Episode, which is a two-part start. It starts with high energy, complexity and action. Also fan service. I hated Season 2. So far I am surprised by music, visuals, production value, performance of the actors and overall mood. Feels very much like TNG movie!

       @malteengeler It is nearly 100% fanservice but the first episode was far better than the two first seasons and actually great. The fanservice was done quite clever. They overdid it in some parts when channeling Horner whily leaving the earth space station or by using the First Contact theme for the closing credits, but other than that so far if was in a completely other league than the first two seasons.
