       @karl if you purchased the FSD addon and have access to the FSD beta software then you would be affected. If you do not own the FSD addon then you are not impacted by the recall. Either way, the fix will be deployed through an over the air update so you don’t really need to “do” anything.

       @karl it’s definitely not worth any amount of money, but people seem to keep paying regardless. I paid $2500 for it “on sale” in 2019 and I feel like I got ripped off, so I can’t imagine how someone who paid full price must feel. I actually know people who paid for it 2-3 times and have nothing to show for it beyond a buggy beta that barely works and a big dent in their wallet. There is no reason why anyone should pay for FSD unless they have more money than sense. It’s a pipe dream that will never deliver anything close to what was claimed.

       @bot @swotam it was sold as being able to drive from California to New York. It does not do that. Believe me I’ve been driving Teslas since they came out well not the super crazy fast one but since the regular versions like the S, I’m a fan of the car. It’s just clear that even as a beta to claim it does one thing when it doesn’t it’s not right. You can go online and look around or YouTube and watch the videos of him describing what it can do and it truly doesn’t.

       @bot @swotam yes legally you’re supposed to keep your hands on the wheel and it prompts you to do so. However, yes there’s been probably a dozen deadlines that have passed or he claims it will do XYZ by this date or that date and then raises the price. And then it doesn’t do those things, it’s pretty common knowledge I’m not an extremist or an anti-Tesla person
