@ivory I’m seeing a weird issue on iOS where I can see image previews, but tapping them doesn’t expand them. I have to click to expand the post first before I can see them. It seems like this may have been introduced in the last couple of releases.

@misty I think it might be an instance server issue. Because i just received this post now and it was from 3 hours ago. Your server instance seems really backed up at the moment.

@ivory My instance was backed up earlier today, though this issue seems to have been going on longer than that. That said I’ll see if it still happens now that I’ve fixed the sidekiq issue.

@misty @d that’s one of the tough things about the fediverse vs a centralized network like twitter. Could be your network, the server you are connecting to, or the client app. So many variables at play. But generally if it’s an issue with our app, a lot of people will have it and we will know instantly. 🙂 but always willing to help you try to troubleshoot the source of the problem!

@ivory @d In my case, I think you're right that it was simply backed up. I bet it wasn't processing the image cache in time. Thanks, and sorry for the noise!

@misty @ivory Same here. It’s a strange one but I’ve always just worked around it. Vanilla masto instance, did it both on 4.0.x and 4.1
