       Two things about #Mastodon that have delighted me unexpectedly:1) Though my number of followers here is over an order of magnitude lower, engagement is dramatically higher. In other words. No bots and real people who are here precisely to engage.2) I've been following random strangers who favourite or boost my own toots, mostly just to fill out my timeline. But it's also been lovely to make some new friends and get exposure to other people's lives.
