       Its the entire damn river and god knows for how much of it. But the EPA says ground water is good to drink. I am just completely wore out from the utter disregard for our people, land and country.

       @EJM77 @Chet it just looks like oil.  Not that it should go ignored, but it looks like oil, not chemicals.Where are all the environmentalists who go to beaches and scrub birds and seals?  Is it too cold for them, or too close to West Virginia?The water table will handle the oil and chemicals.  It does that now with landfills, and all the pollution that came out of Pittsburgh for decades.  I’m sure the local are is a mess, but it won’t turn Ohio into a wasteland.

       Oil doesn't sink to the bottom and raise up to the surface when the river bottom is disturbed. Having been on offshore platforms oil will seep from the ground without it being disturbed. You see it in the ocean. In rivers and streams it doesn't happen like that. The reason it looks like oil is because it is petroleum based product. This same sheen was on the surface, hence you see the White barriers setup downstream. They are there to absorb the petrochemicals on the surface.
