       We need to be able to celebrate Brianna Ghey's life and mourn her death without co-opting statements made expressing similar for Black people who are murdered.Unfortunately I'm seeing a lot of "say her name" and "rest in power" stuff from white folks and it's really really not good. We have a literal epidemic going on of Black trans women being murdered, the media is just ignoring it cause they're not white."Rest in pride" would be far better to say in memory of Brianna Ghey and it wouldn't be appropriating from Black grief.#trans #BriannaGhey #TransRights
