       @IanWoolf I have a Brother HL-1210W I got that is def. not the greatest printer ever, but pretty much "does the thing"  - so far. Some messing about with drivers in Linuxland though.So Brother brand might be worth looking into.

       @zog @IanWoolf going to chime in here also saying "Brother". They're not perfect but they seem to be the last company standing that's still trying to compete by building printers instead of by selling ink.
