See if you can spot the treadling errors! I managed to make the same mistake three different times in pattern repeats so far. Combined with the threading mitsake from earlier, this is rapidly becoming the "warm up" towel where I hopefully get all of the mistakes out of my system before the next two.#weaving

@kyle Few "design features" are noticed as errors, instead those that actually see them think they are part of the pattern. Designing for looks leaves the door open for improve/creativity. Strive for excellence, not perfection. 2-3; 4-5; 5-6.

@kyle You may call me uncultured, but I think that looks great. On a side note... what an interesting hobby, a very tangible and creative one. Probably pairs really well with software development... I spend hours upon hours writing code or working on documents, but never really have anything too tangible to show for it. Maybe I'll take this as a sign that I need to get back to brewing beer. That way I'd at least have a hobby that others could enjoy as well.

@leimon Thank you!You hit the nail on the head. The tangible nature of this hobby is one of the big things that appeals to me after spending so much of my career building either abstract things, ephemeral things, or even tangible things like tech books that fade after a few years. With this hobby I'm making physical objects I and others can use, in many cases objects that will outlive me, if taken care of.
