       Anyone here have a source where I can buy, or a recipe to make, baby formula that isn’t packed with corn syrup, soy, and seed oil? We’re planning on breast feeding but need a contingency in case the baby won’t latch, and commercial formula is garbage.

       @PuppetToTheMan Odds of the baby failing to latch in the first 24 hours are very low.But if you are worried and need an alternative, pump and then bottle feed.  It's still momma's milk, just in a bottle.

       @PuppetToTheMan Actually, momma should pump either way, so that poppa can have a turn feeding the baby.Wait until baby has been feeding well for a few days, and then use a bottle shaped like nature, not one shaped like a pacifier.  Baby should be able to do both.This gives poppa excellent bonding opportunities, and gives momma a chance for a nap, a shower, or even leaving the house for a relaxing mani/pedi.
