The electoral far right has very much consolidated its institutional wins in the past month, which means it can afford to distance itself from its violent extremist base.I think that's why we're seeing a rise in far right extremist accelerationism.

@gwensnyder The extreme left is responsible for far more violence than the extreme right. So to the extent this is true, I hope the left finds the sense to do the same thing.

When folks like Boebert and Gaetz successfully hold the establishment (in the form of McCarthy) hostage to their demands, they need the QAnon and Proud Boy and Groyper Nazi types less and less.They can afford to reduce their pandering to the most extreme elements.

Within the extreme far right, there's always been tension between the folks who want to win a culture war (and ultimately an electoral one), and the accelerationists who want to just burn it all down and start over.

That's a tough lesson and one that I would imagine is driving a lot of electorally-hopeful Nazis towards accelerationism.It's better than them having institutional pull, but it's also a very dangerous movement. And it's growing.

@gwensnyder go ahead and put it together. Nobody keeps the stats, you have to research it. If you look for violent or very destructive actions and include all left wing groups such as Antifa, etc. it is quite obvious.
