@cattailnu The creepiest thing I saw in the Dead City wasn't the absence of people, bar the piles of bones. It wasn't even the utter gloom and silence that hung over the place.It was the spotless, functional, well-lit but deserted bakery we came across. Electric pink and cheerful, it specialised in big, fat cupcakes with icing and a range of flavours. Every day it was restocked, but we never saw who, or what did it.They tasted good; a brief respite from the total death that surrounded us.

@cattailnu I walk down by the street. I'm late again and this time it isn't my fault. I work as a delivery guy. People call, and I go to pick up packages and deliver them to where they tell me to. Easy job, they said. Ha. The ridiculous uniform isn't the problem. Nor is using public transport. No. Walking past a local bread shop and not being able to stop to eat one because not even with the 6 extra arms the uniform is equipped with to carry packages, is. I hate this job…#WritingPrompt
