       @kairyssdal Wise Owls: What's so special about a 2% inflation target anyway? The Fed tolerated years of below-target inflation. What's so terrible about a few years of above-target inflation (assuming 2% is the right target at all)?

       @kairyssdal I feel as though the fed is banging on the old analog TV set to clear the picture — not realizing it is digital broadband.  Their policy tools are too blunt, and assume pricing is broadly demand-driven when it is profit-managed in specific large concentrated markets.
