Playing around with my new camera again tonight and I took both of the photos below in full manual mode with the autofocus turned off. The first picture of Pixie is with the background blurred and the second picture is just Maddy sitting there being Maddy. (It was my 1st attempt at manual focus.)How is everyone doing? 🙂 I've felt a little checked out today between going back to work and looking at all the information on this new camera. 😐🤔#photography #dogs #dogsofmastodon

@nahtanojIts Canon EOS Rebel T7. My wife bought me a starter kit, camera and two lenses. I got it on 2/12 and took my first pictures the next day so I'm just learning.

@That_One_Guy oh wow. That’s a nice one! I have a super old Rebel I adore. It still takes amazing photos! Manual mode is daunting, good on you for giving it a go and getting good shots!
