@grey 3-5 stage water filter with a reverse osmosis stage. They better get something like this before the prices skyrocket.

@voronesh234 @grey it poses a risk only due to plastic bottles being an extremely murky and shitty way to store water, tin cans and glass is the way to go, but glass tends to be overpriced

@FelonyCommitter who knows, not like the government is going to tell us how the pollution is doing. i'm in the 200 mile radius of the explosion, but not in the ohio river watershed, so i don't know how badly we're gonna get it. still re-upping on water filters regardless.

I know people who use bottled water for everything, including cooking things like pasta, and if you see the average costco gower they buy that stuff in ridiculous quantities that this would could be horrible.

Yeah there is another company that makes similar ones, even a zero filter would be better than bottled water at this point.

@blaaablaaaa @Flay zero filters were getting terrible reviews when i looked them up last time, are they actually decent?

I have no idea, apparently from some of the stuff I've seen and from plant growers who need distilled water they work just fine. What are the negative reviews been about?

@blaaablaaaa @Flay i think they have a counterfeiting issue on amazon, alot of complaints that would be explained that way

There was another post related to this about not boiling your water because it won't remove the vinyl chloride, it will only vaporize it, so don't listen to the government regarding this (should be obvious by now). Boiling water would be for things like e. coli, giardia, or parasites like that.

Oh yeah, I don't really understand how people haven't figured out amazon is a counterfeiting hub with a lot of dangerous products on there. There were face creams that were causing burns on people. Apparently they'll accept whatever has the right barcode on it.

@blaaablaaaa @Flay not only that, they'll stop accepting stock from the genuine source because the counterfeiter is cheaper and more popular. need to find a non-amazon place to shop for these.

Shit, I bought bottled water the other day because my Dad told me that I should drink more water while on night shift. Not sure if it is safer in Scotland or not.
