       My protagonist is a scruffy, adolescent mix-breed pup named Gravel. He was raised by his loving, adopted cat family, but now he has to become and adult, and that means having to live among other dogs. Torn between nature and nurture, between his family and his kind, Gravel believes that if he solves the mystery of humans, it will bring peace to the city, and maybe untangle his troubled identity as well.
