       I hope everyone has been watching @Maddow tonight. The Queen of Context just made some crucial points about parallels between authoritarian/wannabe #authoritarian leaders like Orban, Putin, Netanyahu and what could be in store (& is already happening) for us if #Trump gets indicted.  You seriously need to watch her A-Block.

       @GottaLaff @Maddow playing Machiavelli for a moment, would it be better if #Trump were indicted for his crimes, or allowed to destroy the #Republicans in the 2024 election cycle? If #Trump is FINALLY sent to prison, the #Republicans will turn him into a martyr (even though they hate him) and unify their party in a year where #Democrats already face serious electoral headwinds. #Trump will run third party, if denied the #Republican nomination - he has no loyalty.

       @elliswyatt @GottaLaff @Maddow I have absolutely no faith in the institution in question. 60 years of life observing has brought me to that place. I expect nothing from #Democrats and less from #Republicans. The contemporary tribes in question are performative corporatists or unvarnished Nazis. I’d prefer Nazis weren’t in power, because it will resolve as violent and messy.
