       🙋🏻‍♂️ Question for people familiar with #MastodonAPI: when building a client app like @ivory / @icecubesapp, is it ok/expected that each user will locally create a separate "App" in the API on their instance, even if that means my app will create 1000 "Apps" on mastodon.‍social? Or is it a good idea to minimize it if possible, e.g. by pre-registering the app on major instances and shipping keys in the binary? #MastodonDev #MastodonApps

       @mackuba @ivory No. It’s decentralised. It’s excepted. The goal is for your app to make as many babies as possible. Worry not I was also feeling weird at first but now I have so many ice cubes everywhere.
