       as more and more comes out about #BriannaGhey including that her family had written to the school regarding the transphobic abuse she suffered the claims that this was not a #HateCrime become harder and harder to justify.no motive can seem to be found for a #TransWoman who was bullied for months then killed in a targeted attack during a media storm of anti #Trans hate endorsed by the uk government? I think we can all think of a motive.

       'hate crime' as a legal entity has a slim definition, 'hate crime' as a moral entity has a far more sensible one.Targeted and abused a young trans woman was singled out for murder. even if the actual murder was not because she was trans (the legal definition) it was CAUSED by her being trans (the moral one.)

       @elizabethveldon I can't imagine too many murders happen out of love of the victim.  Hate crimes are politicking and nothing more.
