Anyone I follow on here that has experience with #algolia & their #instantsearch library? I'm struggling to get a date-based filter working and the docs aren't really helping. Boosts appreciated!

@janhenckens Last I used it they recommended storing a Unix timestamp and querying against that. So any date filtering just becomes a comparison against a ‘datetime’ property on your records.

@aaronbushnell I have the timestamp in my index, the field is defined as a numericFilter property, the filter syntax matches their examples. And yet once I enable it all my results are gone 🤔 Got any syntax/code snippet you can share for the filter?

@janhenckens I’ll shoot you one here! Is your field set as a filterable attribute? I sometimes forget to set that and it drives me crazy during debugging

@aaronbushnell Yeah, found some guides on how to do that too. Their documentation is soo extensive that it's a bit bunch sometimes and that makes it less clear.But once you get the hang of things (widgets, configuration), it's realllyyyy powerful.
