@Moon it's hard to say because I've had my back problem blowing up at the same time, but I have shitty slight vertigo that comes and goes, not even full vertigo but it almost feels like my head like lost connection for a slight moment. Is that what you feel like?

@meowski @coolboymew the jab was rough for a couple days but i came out completely fine and then much later (i chose not to keep my jab "current") when i got covid it was rough, then i got a little better for a few days and then the deep lethargy and heart weakness set in and has been sustained for over a month now

@Moon @coolboymew both. Started slightly when covid started and increased after the vax because of all the shit I read about it. It's very obviously anxiety attacks(that I've always had) but that's very difficult to determine in the middle of an anxiety attack.

@Moon @coolboymew it's known now that jabbed have a worse response when challenged in the wild with the virus. you could maybe argue that there is some marginal protection for a few months but then it goes negative. we know that now.this doesn't even touch on the known cardiovascular side effects of it- but i hope it gets better soon. i would focus on doing some very gentle consistent cardio to build strength back over time

@Moon @meowski @coolboymew Hard to say what caused that but there's also the angle that the vaccine made the infection not hit as hard. At least over here it made the amount of people needing ER care go down. There's no telling what the currently prevailing mutations are going to do in the long term, though. Hopefully you'll feel better.

@NailBomb oh from 2022! very nice :blobheartcat:I didn't get any from last summer sadly - I think I killed my onions and garlic with too much then too little water? It was very sad :cryingcat: but they surprisingly started coming back at the end of the year so... I just left them in the ground to see what happens. I had some scallions live through TWO winters that I kept chopping off the tops, so maybe the onions & garlic will make it and will be big enough to pick? who knows :blobrainbow:

@scenesbycolleen We had a drought here while I was away for a few weeks and lost garlic too, but I was still happy with what I got for my first try - 120 bulbs. Almost tripling the output this year with 300 in the ground.I did scallions too. I left them in the ground waaaay past harvest and kept snipping off the greens for eggs on the morning. I ended up pickling about 3 doz of them during the last week of August.

I know the standard way is to plant them in Oct/Nov, but I cold stratified mind in a paper bag and put them in trays with about 2" of soil. Then transplanted them as soon as the soil thawed. Almost 100% success. Same process this year too.

They were an impulse buy and I have zero idea the name of the place where I got them or what the cultivar is. Too bad because if I knew they would turn out so good, i'd plant an entire bed

Which ones did you mean? The onions/garlic I left in the ground from 2022 I probably started too late (from bulbs in the spring, and some onions from seed indoors in the winter) but it was a weird spring. So maybe they'll come back next year like my scallions did.You're probably doing it the best way - the instructions on seed packets/ sets always say to plant them in the ground but I've had so much better luck starting earlier and transplanting even things that say "they don't transplant well/at all". IT'S COLD HERE, my plants need all the help they can get! Good to hear I'm not crazy (well... :blobeyes:).

@scenesbycolleen I wasn't thinking clearly. I saved carrot, daikon radish, rainbow chard, cilantro, and beans. My garden is growing exponentially (doubled then double and doubled again) so I sometimes miss out here and there. I'm thinking a lot more about seed saving and avoiding unwanted cross-pollination this year though

@NailBomb Last year I grew some tomatoes and peppers and parsley and onions and cilantro (the year before, I had parsley BUSHES! :blobaww:) from my own seeds and they did alright! This year I have tons of things to try, including "mystery potatoes" (because I took the little fruits that some of the potatoes made but I didn't mark which were which so... *mystery* :blobrainbow:) Gardening is very fun :blobcat:
