In an effort to learn this new camera I got I went to the park to try out the other lens, a telephoto one, on some geese. Most were ok but I need to invest in a good tripod at some point, I'm a little unsteady at times... #photography #wildlife

@That_One_Guy Cobra Chickens!Depending on how heavy the camera, you may have good luck with the string tripod (https://www.instructables.com/String-Tripod/).It packs up easy, and the extra tension made me slightly less wobbly. It's not a 1:1 replacement for a tripod, but it did the job for me back in the day.

@That_One_Guy Have you thought about a monopod? It is a little more portable and, unless you need a lot of extra stability, can stabilize the shot in a pinch. (You can also use your timer and hoist it up above you for a shot above the crowd.) Inexpensive and flexible.

@theawkwardtsarThank you! Unfortunately at this point I'm 50/50 sometimes between the new camera and unsteadiness. I'll get there though. I plan on investing in a good cleaning kit and tripod/monopod over the next few months.
