HSBC UK credit card 5% interest rate increases. So much for "free credit". Thankfully I use this for nothing other than car rental.Time to change? Time to get rid of it?

@bernat Unless there is a service fee on the card, keep it but replace it with one with a lower rate.In about eighteen months you will start to get the new pitch from them about how great their card is with its new lower rates.

This increase, on the other hand, is much more important. Since silly UK left the EU, most (if not all) UK mobile operators stopped free mobile roaming. If I were to change my mobile contract, I'd loose my monthly ~25-30GB data allowance which, right now doesn't cost me anything when I....visit...Europe.My alternative? Add data to my EU SIM, ditch my now very expensive UK SIM and get the cheapest, crappiest alternative. Yay Brexit. We certainly got benefit.
