Hmm.... I'm looking at spending nearly a fifth of my savings on parts to build a prototype for something I don't know if I can make well enough, or if there's enough market even if I can.I mean, I'm lucky enough to not actually live on my own money (yes, I still live with my parents). But this is still my funding for all my projects and hobbies, and my safety net should I ever have to live on my own funds. I hate big decisions.

@PublicLewdness Well, I'm trying to build retro hifi style handmade HTPCs. Combining my family's hobby of amatuer wood and metal working, with my personal hobby of amatuer computer building.My designs (should they actually ever meet the public eye) will be free for anyone to use (if they actually want to...). But ideally, I'd be ale to sell them for some sort of profit.I just don't know if I can actually design and build something well enough for someone to want to buy it.

@OpenComputeDesign Do it !Money will come and go and that's his it goes. Your project might be shelved for god knows how long so might as well dive in and give it a go.Worst case scenario, you'll end up with a badass retro htpc 😄
