Most podcasters don't put every topic they cover in their title, but I always have. I feel like it makes it easier for people to find a show again if they're interested in a topic. But I also wonder if anyone actually does that. And I wonder if it would be better if my titles were more exciting, cute, and enticing like other shows.Which do you think is better?A: Teddy Bears. The Brothers GrimmORB: The pleasant truth behind the Brothers Grimm#podcasting

@grammargirl in my opinion, the first one is too esoteric and the second one doesn't spark interest.

@grammargirl A is more enticing because of the juxtaposition of two topics that don’t necessarily seem to go together lending an air of mystery.

@grammargirl It's a tough one, since I see the appeal of both.Still, I mostly choose to listen to X because Y made it, so I don't really do subject searches but follow creators where they choose to go.As for re-listening to things, my brain is better at storing catchy titles than fact-led ones. So, if I saw, for instance, the title, 'Not a Susan Hill to die on?', I'd know if I wanted to listen to it again, while 'The woman in black; timeless or outdated?' might not ring a bell.

@grammargirl thank you for doing this. I listen to a bunch of public radio podcasts an often want to follow up or refer them to someone. It’s always a challenge to find the right show. Super frustrating!

@grammargirl I also really appreciate when podcasts are clear than an episode is either a repeat or a share of another show (especially since I’ve probably listened to it already because I subscribe to SO MANY podcasts)
