       Many years ago, I was at LAX for a flight out. I went over to the gate to check the situation, and saw that the famous Jack LaLanne (fixture of early morning L.A. TV for many years, fitness and nutritional guru, famous for his swims to Catalina island towing boats while handcuffed) was sitting in the gate area and would apparently be on my flight. Nothing out of the ordinary, this is L.A. after all.I went to the restroom for a few minutes.When I came out, he was performing jumping jacks for a small crowd in the gate area. I love L.A.

       @lauren Awesome. Last time I flew into LAX (which was over a decade ago), I saw Werner Herzog outside in the pickup area by baggage claim.
