After downloading a million 15 year old abandonware windows-only applications I was able to port the city scanner from HL2 to HL1 with near-zero loss in fidelity (just minor changes in the skeleton). The mesh and texture is identical to the full quality HL2 version in the vanilla HL1 engine, if you put aside that 512x512 was an optional feature reserved for cards such as the geforce2, unlike the 256x256 plebs with 3dfx cards.

@FailurePersonified pretty basic rig but I got IK bones for the hands and feet, plus an optional rigid body for doing ragdoll.

@FailurePersonified I'm just playing around with GoldSrc mapping and then I started playing around with modding the SDK and adding models. They're going to play characters. This is a SERIOUS GAME with AI voice acting and everything. It the story between bridge Half-Life 1 and 2. It takes place in the Chud Containment Facility near Black Mesa days after the resonance cascade.
