I have difficulty trusting anyone's account of that night because both stories on both sides have changed multiple times. I don't think May is completely telling the truth of what actually happened. I don't think Riley & crew were completely telling the truth either. I 100% believe they were too strung out to do anything and that place was a shithole, but if she were actually being tied up and kidnapped, how did she magically have enough strength to free herself? Her story has never made sense to me, and she has a bad habit of lying and exaggerating, and they do too.

I don't doubt that in the end he did try to kidnap her, but it feels as though some details were being left out how we got to that point. I mean there was enough evidence to prosecute so I'll defer to the court on the larger details.
