       @darkawower @mmu_man For me, it seems it won't open files outside of its own data directory. I lobe Android permissions.

       @darkawower @mmu_man I'll look into what it takes to build it. It may only need a couple of permissions added to the manifest.Termux already has those permissions, so Emacs on Termux works fine. But applications with those permissions usually can't get distributed in Google Play unless they are specifically and only file managers. They're fine in F-Droid.
