@steeble will do!I’ve used Georganics toothpaste clay before and it creeped me out. It doesn’t foam and felt like rubbing actual clay into my teeth. The Parla toothtabs are far better!

@nickycolman awesome thanks! I was looking at one last week where it’s a reusable outer tube and they send you refills to squeeze in, but it was so damn expensive!I’ll have a look at the Parla ones 😁

@steeble yeah, realistically I don’t think options where you’re essentially subscribed to them are going to work, long term. As soon as you forget to order, you’ll goto the shops and default for the nearest Colgate option. They need to make plastic free options readily available in as many places as possible.

@nickycolman 100%, and it needs to be affordable. A solution like tablets is one that *could* take off, I can see big brands manufacturing them and shops stocking them… it’s just a leap for the consumer.Do you just chew them briefly and then start brushing?

@nickycolman I wonder if we’ll ever see Sensodyne and other toothpaste brands going down this plastic-free path. And bamboo brush heads for our Oral-b electric toothbrushes. Maybe one day.

@purplelime 100%!I would bet good money they are currently squirrelling away on alternative options. They are all just one law change away from behind buggered. Especially if they suddenly become a type of “single use” plastic.

@steeble totally! I would imagine Colgate have tabs up their sleeves. Imagine them in match box size cardboard boxes. That would be ideal!Yeah, you chew one and it instantly becomes liquid in your mouth and then you brush as normal. 😬🙂

@nickycolman @steeble I also use tablet toothpaste. Compostable bag, recyclable box, and the first shipment is in a glass jar. Can recommend Brushd (they also recycle electric toothbrush heads) as well as doing bamboo toothbrushes.
