       @stopgopfox I have my grandfather's Labour Exemption certificate, from England, early 1900s.It certified he'd had enough schooling, could work part time at 9, full-time at 14.I didn't know either of my grandfathers well, they died early of industrial lung disease from cotton mills and coal mines, after fighting in the WWI trenches.Welcome, USA, to 1912.All you need now is a global war.
