       I love the fediverse right up until my Mastodon server admin announces that they are shutting down the instance and I have to figure out where to migrate to.

       @evacide fwiw, when I moved to this instance (hosted by Medium, so I expect maybe not a fit for your tastes), 95% of my followers were migrated in the first hour or so. Content won't come over, but followers at least will mostly do so. But yes, _having_ to move really sucks.
