       @kumicota whether one person buys the game or not wont have an impact on real world.But regardless your choice makes a statement, its symbolic. If you cant do the bare minimum of not spending $60 usd how can we trust your allyship in anything else

       @SOUP Symbolic support is the worst kind of support because you aren't fighting for someone else safety but saying that you do, it's the same as white-knighting but for other agendas. While what I will say now is a strawman argument, it applies to some point, it's like people saying that to drop the game because of slavery, anti-lgbt, anti-semitism and more topics, while using Apple devices, playing games that tencent is a shareholder and more. China literally uses slave labor, has laws against LGBT and even allows conversion therapy and another crimes but people prefer to complain agains a dumb old woman instead losing the convenience of using a device/software from a even worst country.

       @kumicota I think you've missed what I was saying when I said it was symbolic. While the $60 you spend wont really make a difference in the grand scheme of things, you are still spending this money knowing that some portion will go towards furthering transphobic and antisemitic causes. That is no longer symbolic. You are donating your money to their cause.The reason I say symbolic is because its not direct, you are spending your money on a game which has become a symbol of these issues. I disagree about symbolic support being the worst kind of support, saying that you support a cause or making a symbolic show of support for said cause is sometimes all you can do and it is not at all exclusive with actually 'fighting' for a cause (whatever you define fighting as). I also want to say that equating it to white-knighting feels terribly reductive.I'm a bit confused about your strawman here. Yes there are other issues in the world but this is the issue we are talking about.
