I am constantly filling out Doodle polls and constantly double or triple booking. Does anyone have a good system for managing calendar holds?

@foundhistory But seriously, really good question. I guess I try to be somewhat parsimonious in listing my availability when I see that other responses have in effect already ruled out certain choices. I mark the calendar as best I can for really important stuff & wait to see what happens with the others. I think 1 real key is timeliness: I'm happy to put down lots of potential choices if I'm confident we will get an answer soon. It's when the process drags on that I run into double-booking

@Clackable @foundhistory Even better! 🤣 Our late library director, who was a smart, tough cookie, had a mug that read, "Meetings: the practical alternative to work."We really just do not need so many meeting, or at any rate, those that do take place could all be about half as long.
