       @lowqualityfacts this is only part of the story and one that was misrepresented in a well known Far Side comic. Boneless chickens were an accidental discovery when investigating water-based chicken egg farming. Subsequent mutations devolved into a water-based, boneless chicken. There are no known wild variants of this chicken as they are kept under wraps to avoid devolution protestors. Advantages of this method: 3 dimensional, high density farming using water tanks, ease of processing at the factory and higher yield due to lack of water-borne viruses for chickens. Another accidental discovery happened after one of the tanks overheated: pre-cooked boiled eggs in supermarkets, ready to eat for the consumer.
