       The more I work with other people, the clearer it is that good communication is a super power.Just proof read a very data driven report that was also full of implied value judgement."They only did X/day" - just say they did X/day"Unusable data" - no, the data is incompatible, it is usable by other teams, just not yoursetc.Company wide "communication" workshops don't work: most people thinks "oh we are having this because someone else fucked up, this doesn't apply to me because I am perfect".  The only way is 1-1 mentoring/coaching.While I mostly just want to write code and build cool systems, I can't escape the sense of responsibility for coaching my juniors, and that's not a bad thing. I just wish it didn't take so much time and emotional energy.#senior #engineer

       @spinglass funny thing is these are the result of feminizing the workplace... and women are supposed to be better communicators.
