@L4UREN I like communicating with people who have a wide variety of viewpoints, including ones very much different than my own. So long as the conversations stay polite, they can be quite illuminating. This policy has served me well over the years.

@flargh I am the opposite of a gourmet. When I've eaten at Google cafes, I don't recognize half the items available even though everything is labeled -- including the fruit. So I'd almost always eat pizza.

@lauren I agree. Both are selfish and cruel, but I've heard DJT is funny in person. He wants to be liked. DeSantis seems like he wants to be feared.

@lauren That’s a good policy, and one that if everyone had, would make for a much better world. I’d choose lunch with Trump over DeSantis as well, because he’s nothing if not grotesquely fascinating. I’d wear a face shield tho; surely he spits food when he talks with his mouth full.
