Regarding the transgender character in Hogwarts Legacy:Rather than making fun of "her" for things like the obviously androgynous/masculine voice actor, the commentary that I'd like to add is that one of the most ironic things about companies trying to wokepander to the transgender community, is that they don't actually know what the transgender community actually wants in terms of representation. The thing is, the transgender community doesn't actually want "obviously trans" characters. It's what companies and dumb normie liberals think they want, but it's actually not. Because when they play games where they have to create a character that they want to represent themselves, they're not going to play "male/androgynous character that retains obvious male traits".An MtF isn't going go for some Emma Watson look-alike or some androgynous mess and give that character a nasally "it's MA'AM!" voice. They're going to make the character have Emma Watson's high-pitched voice. In short, what the transgender community (MtFs) actually wants is a character that's near-identical to females that is almost impossible to distinguish from actual females. That's what they want as their "representation" of themselves. Because one of their main core beliefs is that they are "just as much women as [cis] women".That means they don't want characters like Sirona Ryan with an obviously-masculine voice. Or a character like Osa from Rainbow Six Siege who looks obviously like an androgynous male. They'd pick actual female characters over "obviously trans" characters. What they actually want, and use as mascots are characters like Astolfo (Fate series) or Felix, (Re: Zero), characters who are basically drawn almost the same way as female characters, but are actually male. The ironic part is that such characters are not even technically trans (they openly admit that they're male), and they basically exist as gag/comedy characters, but the transgender community is more likely to adopt them as representations of themselves than someone like Sirona Ryan or Osa who were designed to purposely be "badass" to pander to them.Alternatively, for those who aren't massive weebs or videogame nerds like me, we can use Chandler Bing's father from Friends. A character that's said "by the plot" to be "male" but in reality is an actual biological woman (Kathleen Turner). That's the kind of representation that fits more in-line with what they actually want, because one of their main goals and core beliefs is that they are "just as much or better women than [actual or cis] women".
