       Playing with a couple of Scientific Atlanta 8602 series cable boxes, for grins. The diagnostic screens are much nicer than GI's. Hardware sadly isn't as hackable though.SA had their V1 box hacked and switched to a Motorola secure microcontroller for channel authorisation in V2. Huge difference between them and GI/Jerrold, who changed a few commands and called it a day.
