@lauren quite the black-white comment you are making there. You seem to forget that it was Starlink in the first place that re-instated the Ukraine's internet very quickly after the Russians wrecked the country's infrastructure. I find it acceptable if the company limits their satellite and receivers' usage to communication - by the military just as well as civilians.

@alien I stand by my statement. By cutting off a service capability that Ukraine was already using and depending upon in the face of horrific Russian atrocities, Musk is directly supporting Putin's efforts. Period.

@lauren Perhaps I am stating the obvious, but my assumption is that China “requested” this of Musk (explicitly or implicitly) in the context of China’s Taiwan invasion aims.Musk is in no position to refuse given his business exposure in China.These conflicts should be investigated urgently and rigorously.
